A Tale of 2 Cities

Dogobath. A desolate, grey mountainous world on the farthest ouskirts of the known universe, that had known only war since time immemorial when the forces of Arm and Core first Arrived on it.

War that had whittled down, little by little, the forces of both sides, until only two commanders remained. In a break from tradition, the two Commanders, recognising their imminent and pointless demises, arranged to meet, and an uneasy peace arose.

A grudging peace that has lasted two hundred years, enforced and maintained only by a "No Fire Zone" between the opposing encampments. It is said that powerful devices were planted at the time of the truce that detect unit fire... These secrets have been lost in the mists of time.

During the two hundred years life has appeared on this barren world. Whole forests have grown where nothing remained. Flowers bloom in the lifeless soil. Colour appears, incongrously against the stark greyness of Dogobath. But nothing lasts forever. And peace, is nothing. A hundred years ago, our seers prophesized that things would change. Fire would raze the ground, and death fall from the sky. The very nature of the sky would change...

The enlightened Core Commander has ceased to function. Preliminary celebrations have been cut short - a transport ship has unexpectedly made planetfall from Core Prime, carrying his successor. The War begins anew.

This mission is for experienced Commanders. You will find Core to be without mercy, and oblivious to the threats of the No Fire Zone.
